Q: Is the Bugaboo Bee3 Compatible for a Newborn?

Q: The Bugaboo Bee3 is a wildly popular stroller for parents everywhere. It is the only stroller in the Bugaboo Lineup that does not have a bassinet included. Can you use the Bee3 for a newborn? A: The Bugaboo Bee3 seat is situated closer to the ground than most other strollers. In addition, the Bee3 seat reclines to pretty much flat with a true recline - not a 90 degree one. For both of these reasons, placing an infant directly on the reclined seat without any additional accessories is not a very safe option. To make your Bee3 a perfect stroller to be used from birth, consider one of three options:
    1. Car Seat Adapter -Just picture this - you head out to the mall or beach or favorite restaurant with your little one asleep in their infant seat in the back. Once you reach your destination, it's time to take baby out. Simply remove your car seat from its base and place onto your stroller frame! No need to wake baby when you use a car seat adapter when on the go. Peaceful baby = happy mom:)
2. Bassinet - Bugaboo now offers a beautiful bassinet separately that sits on the Bee3 seat. It includes carry straps for easy transporting. 3. Cocoon - the Baby Cocoon adds protection and head support in those first few months, making the Bee a cozy place for your newborn. Plus, the apron on the Baby Cocoon is removable so a child is comfortable on both warm and cold days and detachable head support can be removed when you no longer need it.
