UppaBaby just introduced the Ridge jogger stroller, their first jogging stroller ever! To give you an idea of what this stroller is all about, we’re comparing it to the Bob Gear Alterrain Pro, one of our most popular jogging strollers!

When comparing these two jogging strollers, we noticed that they have plenty in common! They both feature a locking front wheel, safety tether wrist strap, a covered basket, and a multi-position recline.
The Bob Gear Alterrain Pro stroller is about 3 pounds heavier than the UppaBaby Ridge, and it has a sharp, rugged presentation complete with the iconic BOB gear design, while the UppaBaby Ridge is a bit more sleek, with those inimitable UppaBaby vibes.
The UppaBaby Ridge stroller can hold a second child, since it has the option of a piggyback board (sold separately).
The Alterrain comes with a slightly larger canopy to keep your baby even more covered from rain and sun, and it’s also a teeny bit more narrow.
Jogging strollers can be used for babies who are at least 6-8 months old. For babies younger than that, it should be used as a regular stroller, not for jogging.
